Wier’s Mortuary Chapel (“Wier’s,” “Funeral Home,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides funeral, cremation, memorial, arrangement, and related services.

Certain website, technology, communication, memorial, condolence, virtual funeral, payment, and other services available through or in connection with our Site may be provided by third-party service providers, including Sympathy Brands, LLC, eCondolence, Viewneral®, and other technology providers.

These service providers may process information as reasonably necessary to provide their services on behalf of or in connection with Wier’s Mortuary Chapel.

Your personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptance of Terms

By browsing the Site or accessing or using its content, software, communications, eCondolence services, Viewneral®, virtual funerals, virtual arrangements, seminars, gatherings, or other services (“Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We may amend these Terms periodically. When changes are made, we will revise the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

SMS/Text Messaging Terms

Wier’s Mortuary Chapel may offer SMS/text messaging to communicate with families, customers, authorized representatives, and others who choose to receive text messages from us.

By providing your mobile telephone number and affirmatively consenting to receive text messages, you agree that Wier’s Mortuary Chapel may send text messages to the mobile number you provided.

Messages may include communications concerning:

• Funeral or cremation arrangements

• Appointments

• Service information

• Memorial or funeral notifications

• Arrangement updates

• Requested information

• Account or transaction matters

• Other communications related to services you have requested from Wier’s Mortuary Chapel

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile telephone number you provide and that you are authorized to consent to receive text messages at that number.

Opting Out

You may opt out of SMS/text communications at any time by replying STOP to a text message from Wier’s Mortuary Chapel.

After submitting a STOP request, you may receive a confirmation message acknowledging your request. After that confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from that messaging program unless you subsequently provide consent to receive messages again.

Mobile Information and SMS Consent

Sympathy Brands and eCondolence Services

Wier’s Mortuary Chapel utilizes certain technology and online services provided by Sympathy Brands, LLC, including eCondolence, to support funeral, memorial, condolence, communication, and related services.

When you access these services through or in connection with Wier’s Mortuary Chapel, you may interact with technology operated or supported by Sympathy Brands or its service providers.

Certain features may also be subject to additional terms applicable to the particular service.

Viewneral® and Virtual Services

Wier’s Mortuary Chapel may utilize Viewneral®, a technology service provided by Sympathy Brands, LLC, to facilitate virtual funerals, memorial services, arrangements, seminars, gatherings, and other virtual services.

Viewneral may utilize third-party technology providers, including Zoom, to provide virtual meeting and communication functionality.

When you access or use Zoom or another third-party platform, your use of that service may also be subject to the applicable provider's terms and privacy policies.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Site, its design, text, graphics, images, software, trademarks, logos, and other content may be owned by Wier’s Mortuary Chapel, Sympathy Brands, their licensors, or other applicable rights holders.

Nothing contained in these Terms grants you ownership of any intellectual property.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, reverse engineer, sell, license, create derivative works from, or otherwise commercially exploit protected Site content or software except as expressly authorized by the applicable rights holder or permitted by law.

Information and Content You Submit

You may have the opportunity to submit information, messages, condolences, tributes, photographs, memorial information, comments, or other content through the Site or Services.

You represent that you have the right to submit the information or content you provide and that your submission does not violate applicable law or the rights of another person.

Information intended for publication, such as an online condolence, memorial message, tribute, photograph, or similar content, may become publicly accessible.

We reserve the right to remove or decline to publish content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, fraudulent, infringes another person's rights, or is otherwise inappropriate for the purpose of the applicable service.

Third-Party Websites and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or utilize services provided by third parties.

A link to or integration with a third-party website or service does not necessarily constitute an endorsement of that provider.

When you access an independently operated third-party website or service, your use of that service may be governed by the third party's own terms of use and privacy policy.
