Tayler was born in
Crescent City to Herk and Paula Sturdevant. She attended local schools,
Graduating from Sunset High along with earning her CNA license in 2011.
She married the love
of her life Jordan in 2018 and had 2 daughters Harper Maelynn in 2017 and
Eloise June in 2021. Her family was her world.
Tayler started
showing animals with the local Grange at the age of 9 and continued until she
was 19. She loved all animals especially her horses and cows and her dog
Ariat.
Tayler competed in
rodeos in southern Oregon and Northern California, winning many buckles in her
favorite event of goat tying. Tayler worked in the field of a CNA
for 10 years before starting her career at Pelican State Prison in 2019.
Tayler is survived
by her husband Jordan Dutton, her 2 daughters Harper and Eloise. Her
parents Herk and Paula Sturdevant. Brothers , Hunter ( Shelby ) Jordan (Michaela)
Collin ( Christen ) Logan (Kate ) , Justin ( Chad ). Her Grand Father Chuck
Sturdevant. Her Father and Mother-in-law Lee and Lorrie Dutton, and sister-in-law

Midnight Monkey aka Sparky, and all her many friends, and extended
family.
She was proceeded in
this world by her Grandparents Les and Nellie Spencer, and Christina Linton,
and her loving dog Ariat.
Tayler will be very
missed for her smile that lit up a room, her sense of humor and for never being
able to use her library voice, and for being the best plant mom ever. She made
friends wherever she went with her warmth and outgoing personality. Cowgirls
are God's wildest angels, and we are sure she is up there kicking up some dust.
We love you Tayler and you will forever be cherished.
