Mark Misewicz, 78 years of age, passed away on July 1, 2026
in Crescent City, California.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Lin Misewicz.
He leaves behind nine children, 3 stepchildren and many beloved grandchildren
residing in many states across the country.
Mark was born in Joliet, Illinois and lived in San Francisco
and the Virginia suburbs of Washington D.C. before moving to Crescent City with
his wife in 2000. He had a lifelong career in sales and could often be seen in
the stores of Del Norte County, making sales and making friends.
Mark loved the Crescent City area with its clean air,
beautiful coastline, and magical Redwoods. Happiness was listening to his
favorite music. He was famous in the family for his great dance moves.
A consistent and daily joy for Mark was being part of the
family and fellowship of the Crescent City and Brookings AA community. The
focus on honesty, service to others and gratitude for the life we have been
given nourished his spirit with joy and peace.
The most valuable things we have are time and
