Erica Shaw passed away on the evening of September 27, 2024, at the age of 57. Born on April 11, 1967, in Santa Clara, California, Erica was a woman who embraced life with curiosity and an open heart. She loved trying new things, enjoyed the thrill of discovery, and was always on the lookout for her next adventure.
Erica was deeply devoted to her husband, Chad Shaw, and shared a special bond with animals, always caring for them with tenderness. She loved playing games with her family and friends, creating cherished memories filled with laughter and joy. She spent her final years in Crescent City, the place she had always loved and called home.
She is survived by her husband Chad, her children Austin Lalor, Nicole Powers, and Justin Lalor, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Ariana Murray-Powers, Killian Lalor, and James Lalor. She also leaves behind her mother, Olivia Halunen, and her stepfather, Ted Halunen.
Erica is now in heaven with her grandmother, Lupe Gonzales; her brother, Michael Larson; and her father, Chuck Larson. She will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her love for her family and animals, and her passion for exploring new hobbies and experiences.
