Carole Louise
Dickerson (Waggoner) was born January 5, 1939, in Los Angeles California to
Stanley L. and Marion V. Waggoner, and passed away October 15, 2026, in
Crescent City California at age 87.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl
Bradfield, James M. Dickerson Jr., Jeanine L. Scott, and Casey James Thomas
Dickerson, along with eleven grandchildren, niece Dana A. Pretchel and nephew
Thomas B. Waggoner.
She was preceded in death by her husband James
M. Dickerson Sr., son Paul C. Dickerson and brother Thomas L. Waggoner.
She was raised in Los Angeles, California and
later moved to Montana. She returned to California where she met and married
James M. Dickerson and raised four children.
Carole was an avid reader, and enjoyed
fishing, traveling, cooking and crafts. Carole had a strong personality and would always
let you know her point of view.
Memorials in Carole's honor can be made to the
charity she supported, the Shriners Children’s hospital.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a
future date in 2027.
